About the opportunity We have an exciting 2-year fixed term opportunity for a Guidance Lead to join Energy Safe's Guidance Team within the Customer and People's Experience Division.
You will contribute by: Establishing and leading our Guidance team.Leading the planning, development and implementation of high-quality industry guidance materials to assist industry stakeholders to understand their obligations and to support them to comply with their obligations under legislation and technical standards, industry best practice, and Energy Safe's position.Identifying, liaising and consulting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure guidance is correct and meets cohort needs.Reviewing and updating existing industry guidance to ensure it is current and meets industry needs.Developing internal procedures and templates for the development and production of guidance materials.Identifying subject areas where guidance materials would assist industry stakeholders in meeting their regulatory obligations and leading the development of such materials.Providing advice, recommendations and innovative program options and solutions to support the delivery of the guidance to industry.Supporting subject matter experts to deliver guidance to stakeholders as required, including, but not limited to, presentations and webinars.Assisting in identifying trends and issues and prioritising guidance material demands based on Energy Safe's priorities.Evaluating the effectiveness of guidance materials, and implementing a continuous improvement cycle to ensure all published materials remain current and valid.To be successful, you'll have: Current Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment, or willingness to undertake.Experience in developing technical and/or regulatory guidance materials.Knowledge of Victoria's energy safety legislation.Proven ability to apply relevant government legislation, regulations, directives and procedures to achieve optimal organisational outcomes.Experience in leading a small team.A very high level of technical and/or regulatory writing skills.Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to lead, provide advice and guidance to resolve issues and introduce improvement.High level advocacy skills and the ability to assertively provide and deliver authoritative guidance and advice in such a way that it is possible to maintain good relationships when dealing with stakeholders.Experience in developing guidance materials in a range of formats, including documents, presentations, visual and audio formats.How to apply Please refer to the available position description to assess your suitability and submit your current resume and cover letter via the Apply button.
