The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have great listening and communication skills, and share a passion for delivering service to our guests that is exceptional in every sense.We look for people who will go the extra mile to ensure our guest experiences are memorable.Core Functions of your RoleAssisting with guest queries in a professional manner and acting as a brand ambassadorProviding a seamless arrival and departure experienceLogging and following up on guests' requests with the appropriate departmentsDirecting calls to guest rooms, departments, or key stakeholders of the businessProviding information about hotel services to guestsFacilitating the guest payment process in accordance with policies and proceduresCreating bookings for guests outside of reservation opening hoursMaintaining knowledge of hotel facilities and promotionsAbout youA qualification or currently undertaking studies in Hospitality Management (desirable)Experience as a guest services representative in a 5-star environment (highly desirable)Experience with hotel booking systems – preferably Opera (desirable)Exceptional attention to detailA 'can-do' attitudeExcellent communication skills (both written & verbal)Proactive focus and shares a passion for the hospitality industryWell-groomed and professional in appearanceThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDisplays problem solving skillsCommitment with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidaysBenefits and PerksThe opportunity to work with industry professionals in an exciting hotel environmentGreat opportunities for career developmentStaff meals provided on shiftAn attractive food and beverage discount program
