The role
As a critical member of the Group Finance team, the Group Reporting Manager will manage and oversee the accurate and timely delivery of financial and board reporting for the Group. Please note – this is a 15 month fixed term contract.
What you will be doing Preparing and managing the delivery of all aspects of financial and statutory reporting for the Group on an accurate and timely basis.Preparing financial statement supporting schedules and disclosures that form part of the Board papers.Reviewing the monthly Group consolidation and results of the Group.Reviewing mandate and co-owner reporting, as required.Leading and managing the external audit process for the Group.Developing, in consultation with the Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance Advisory, the Group's position on the impacts of new accounting standards.Developing and enhancing existing finance systems to improve the process and delivery of Group reporting requirements.Preparing and coordinating financial analysis and reviewing of business performance for the Group.Reviewing and maintaining documented financial control policies and procedures.People management, staff development and training; this role has 1 direct and 1 indirect report.What makes you stand out We are seeking a Finance professional with significant senior accounting experience, including corporate and statutory reporting. You will have a solid understanding of the application of accounting standards, general accounting practices and tax. You will be CA/CPA qualified coupled with Big 4 and/or industry experience.
You will have an extensive understanding of financial reporting systems and processes; experience of SAP/HFM is highly desirable but not essential.
Your high levels of motivation, proactivity and organisation will stand you in good stead as you develop strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
