We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Group Progressive Maintenance Lead to join our Operational Excellence team. Reporting into the Group CI Lead, you will be responsible for driving Progressive Maintenance improvement throughout Bulla, with particular focus in Operations. The Group PM Lead is key support in driving forward Bulla's high-performance culture in both an increasingly demanding marketplace and at a pivotal time of transformation for the business.
This involves improving production capacity by supporting the maintainability of plant equipment, continuously improving systemic and human capability and performance within the Maintenance and Operations areas along with providing leadership through demonstrated commitment to Bulla values
Note, this role is located in Colac, with travel to our Melbourne sites required on occasion Your responsibilities will include: Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop Asset Maintenance strategy which outlines the approach and plans for maintaining and managing assets within Bulla. Design and deploy a standardised Progressive Maintenance programme across sites. Own and review the RACI matrix specific to maintenance activities across all of Bulla. Develop and implement standardized best in class Maintenance Planning and Scheduling work process. Implement Maintenance Cost Management work process Implement standard budgeting methodology to activity-based budgeting Deploy Spare Parts Controls and Management process across all sites. Implement harmonization across all sites to simplify and optimize inventory. Lead the CMMS standards update to bring it to best in class levels of Progressive Maintenance. Support Progressive Maintenance methodology within VSUM (Vertical Start-up management) for Capital Projects Working with the broader business functions to deliver on improvement initiatives e.g., Operational Excellence, New Product Development, Capital planning, Education & Training etc. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and root cause analysis for problem solving that supports the delivery of the Operations Strategy through Operational Excellence methodologies and tools. Utilise information systems to report on, analyse and drive continuous improvement of both the Business Centre and overall operational performance. Report on monthly improvement progress update on Progressive Maintenance deployment, implementation and KPIs Provide regular training across Operations in both classroom and on-the-job settings to build capability Encourage the development of a continuous improvement culture across the organisation by acting as a consultant for the business, advising on projects, coaching staff, communicating Progressive Maintenance improvement activities and providing shared learning opportunities on PM tools You will have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science preferred Minimum ten (10) years' experience in a manufacturing industry Minimum six (6) years' experience with Progressive Maintenance deployment Strong motivational skills with the capacity to positively influence people, initiate and deliver change independently or through teamwork. Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and writing) and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and train operational staff Proven ability to execute and deliver results Demonstrated technical skills in SAP PM or MEX High degree of professional ethics and integrity Strong logical and lateral thinking skills with a capacity for innovation. Flexibility to handle a range of tasks with changing priorities.
