The opportunity: As a Pricing Business Partner for our Group Pricing team, you will partner with stakeholders across our Master Trust client portfolio by providing strategic insights that drive profitable and innovative pricing solutions. This includes providing risk assessments, product and pricing terms, claims experience analysis, assessment of how members' insurance needs are met and future product design.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team. You will work to provide support for the achievement of profit and revenue targets across the Group Insurance business each financial year through client retention and growth.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
To do this successfully you will: Manage the pricing strategy for the client portfolio including identifying the optimal profitable, strategic and innovative pricing solutions that will allow the business to retain and win insurance businessSupport the Senior Manager to provide technical pricing oversight to the team, as well as broader commercial business skills and acumenEffectively contribute to the achievement of premium revenue and profit objectives for the Group Insurance businessSupport negotiations with the reinsurers to obtain the best outcome for the business for on-going renewals, mid-contract product and pricing reviews and new business tendersEnsure all pricing activities follow AIA Pricing Strategy, sign off & governance processes across Actuarial, Product, Operations, Reinsurance and Group Office guidelinesParticipation and input into the customer retention and growth programsProactively provide client partners with insights into emerging claims experience and trendsProvide mentoring and coaching support for Pricing Specialists and AnalystsSuccessful applications will demonstrate: FIAA (or equivalent) qualified or have made significant progress towards FIAA qualificationExperience pricing group insurance products, ideally in a partnership/relationship management roleStrong understanding of the group insurance market and the key drivers impacting both insurers and reinsurersKnowledge and experience working with actuarial concepts, capital, profit and value measuresStrong relationship management skills which allow you to successfully engage, influence and strategise with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partnersExcellent communication backed with sound analysis skillsAn analytic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to find creative solutions to problemsWhy choose AIA: Access our training and development to build on your current skillsCareer development through internal mobility opportunitiesWork for a business helping millions of Australians and make a difference to someone's life every dayAccess additional leave days a year to recharge and refresh yourselfEnjoy wonderful Health and Wellbeing initiatives that support youWork with supportive and inclusive managersFlexible working arrangementsAt AIA Australia, we're proud to help guide, support and protect the wellbeing of over 3.5 million Australians.
