About the Job
Lead this prominent heavy vehicle dealership group into a new era of success. This executive level role offers full profit and loss responsibility for multiple branches across regional New South Wales, with the opportunity to shape the future of the business and drive expansion.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall business strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of dealership operations including sales, parts, service, finance, and customer relationships. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of branch managers, fostering a culture of high performance and customer focus. Financial Performance: Drive profitability and growth, managing budgets, cash flow, and capital investments. Change Management: Guide the business through a period of transition and growth, leveraging support services and operating models. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers and customers. Growth & Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to expand the dealership network. Ideal Candidate: Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the heavy vehicle industry from a retail dealership perspective, including sales, service, parts, and finance. Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets, cash flow, and financial performance. Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership qualities, with a focus on employee engagement and building trust. Change Management: Experience in leading and managing organisational change. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Operational Excellence: Proven track record in managing day-to-day dealership operations. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and expansion.
