Group Accountant

Job DescriptionAbout the role:As the Group Accountant, you will be central to our financial operations, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our group and treasury accounting activities.
You will have the opportunity to oversee and optimise cash flow to support the organisation's financial health, mitigate financial risks to protect our assets, manage and reconcile transactions between different entities within the group, and lead the consolidation of financial statements for accurate and timely reporting.This role offers a unique opportunity to join a large finance team renowned for its team culture.
You will gain valuable exposure across the entire group and adopt a multinational perspective, working across various regions.What you will be involved in:Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needsManage bank relationships, negotiate banking facilities, and ensure compliance with covenantsMonitor and manage financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks, through appropriate hedging strategiesEnsure timely and accurate processing of treasury transactions, including investments, borrowings, and intercompany fundingCoordinate the quarterly and annual consolidation process for the groupPrepare consolidated financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholdersManage intercompany reconciliations, including intercompany loan consolidation and interestAssist in the preparation of statutory accounts and support the external audit processDevelop and implement group accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all entitiesProvide detailed financial analysis and report to senior managementSupport the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into cash flow projections and financial performanceEnsure robust internal controls are in place for treasury and group accounting activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements in treasury and group accounting functionsWhat we would like from you:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Group or Treasury AccountingProven experience with consolidation processes and financial reportingProficiency in treasury management systems and ERP software is highly desirableA Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldA professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is highly desirableExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAPPLY NOWAlternatively for a confidential discussion, please contact Mel Lo in the Nova Talent Acquisition Team on .Nova Systems does not accept any recruitment agency solicitation.Nova Systems is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone feels safe, valued, and included, where our people are our point of difference.#J-18808-Ljbffr
