Job Description About the role: As the Group Accountant, you will be central to our financial operations, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our group and treasury accounting activities.
You will have the opportunity to oversee and optimise cash flow to support the organisation's financial health, mitigate financial risks to protect our assets, manage and reconcile transactions between different entities within the group, and lead the consolidation of financial statements for accurate and timely reporting.

What you will be involved in: Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs Manage bank relationships, negotiate banking facilities, and ensure compliance with covenants Monitor and manage financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks, through appropriate hedging strategies Ensure timely and accurate processing of treasury transactions, including investments, borrowings, and intercompany funding Coordinate the quarterly and annual consolidation process for the group Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders Manage intercompany reconciliations, including intercompany loan consolidation and interest Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and support the external audit process Develop and implement group accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all entities Provide detailed financial analysis and report to senior management Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into cash flow projections and financial performance Ensure robust internal controls are in place for treasury and group accounting activities Identify opportunities for process improvements in treasury and group accounting functions What we would like from you: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Group or Treasury Accounting Proven experience with consolidation processes and financial reporting Proficiency in treasury management systems and ERP software is highly desirable A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is highly desirable Excellent communication and relationship-building skills APPLY NOW Alternatively for a confidential discussion, please contact Mel Lo in the Nova Talent Acquisition Team on .
