This position is ideal for a Group Accountant with a business services background who has a keen interest in the construction & property sector.
You will ultimately lead the month end & financial compliance processes for the Group.
My client is a leading company within the construction space who have been in operation for a number of years & now have offices across Australia.

DescriptionUltimately, the purpose of this role is to take ownership over the month end reporting process for the Group, working closely with the Financial Controller & CFO to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
Balance sheet reconciliationsLeading the month end close & supporting the team to reduce month end timelines while maintaining accuracyLeading the financial compliance matters for the group - including GST, FBT, Payroll Tax etc.Monitoring financial performance of the company and propose improvementsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and standardsParticipating in the annual audit process alongside the external auditorsProfileThe successful candidate will have:
