About the role As the Groundsperson, you will be responsible for the maintenance of Council's premier parks and sporting facilities providing high quality landscape maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities: Undertake inspections of parks and other facilities.
Mowing and landscape maintenance related to green public space Fertilising and pesticide applications to sporting fields and Council Parks.
Ensure completion of all necessary administrative functions (electronic & paper based).
Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed to assist other parks teams.
About You We are looking for someone with: Current NSW Class C Driver's License (MR Desirable).
White Card Chemical Application ChemUse AQF3 Previous experience working in an outdoor operational environment.
Previous experience working in a landscape/ gardening role.
Experience in operation of a range of mowers and small plant equipment.
Great communication skills Great attention to detail What's on offer We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,224 to $1,348 plus 11.5% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
