Groundsperson – Bunbury Turf Club The Opportunity This permanent full-time team position, with opportunities for growth and development, will report to the Track & Grounds Manager and assist in maintaining the course proper, training tracks, and grounds at the Bunbury Turf Club, ensuring they are presented in the best possible condition.
Day To Day, The Role Will Be: Undertake a diverse range of general maintenance work, including labouring, cleaning tracks, gardens, and maintenance instructions
Operate plant equipment such as tractors, mowers, front-end loader forklifts, power sweepers, power harrows, brush cutters, hedgers, push mowers, and general spray operations.
Conduct routine maintenance of turf, synthetic, artificial, and other surfaces.
The Right Fit To be successful in the role, the right fit will have the following experience and capability:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in turf management.
Qualification in turf management (desirable but not essential).
General operational and mechanical maintenance skills.
Appropriate licenses to operate specialist machinery such as manual vehicles, front-end loaders, and forklifts (as applicable).
Sound knowledge and practical experience in handling and spraying chemicals.
A demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Sound verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
