The Role:We currently have a new vacancy available for a Grounds Team Member who will be responsible for delivering Grounds Maintenance works as part of a wider team. You will work at a variety of Sydney Water locations & travel between multiple sites within Western Sydney. This role will also include carrying out regular grounds maintenance activities.
Responsibilities will include:Work as part of a team to deliver works safely and to meet quality requirementsUse of whips and blowers to manage vegetation and debrisOperate mower to mow large open sitesAssist as required in other grounds maintenance activitiesOccasionally assist in other areas of maintenance activities due to business needsPerform general maintenance to plant and equipmentPerform pre-start inspections and follow safe work practicesWhat you will need:Construction White cardManual Drivers licence & own transportation is a mustFlexible approach and a positive attitudeA team playerBe willing to partake in our on-boarding process which includes pre-employment medicals, reference and qualification checks, online inductionsPrior experience in grounds maintenance is preferred but not requiredAbility to successfully pass police and medical check requirementsBenefits:If you have experience in this area and are willing to contribute as part of a high performing team with a positive attitude, this is a perfect role for you.
