About the Role
The position is casual with the potential to progress to a permanent role and is based in the Hunter Valley NSW.
38 hours per week either 4 or 5 days per week.
Keep all gardens, grounds and external areas of the site well maintained.
Ensure gardens are neat and tidy.
Mowing and whipper snipping of grounds.
Weed identification and removal.
Keep all walkways and areas clear of debris and rubbish.
Actively participate in daily risk management processes and regular toolbox meetings.
You will demonstrate commitment to the position, pride in your work, reliability as well be able to follow instructions and complete the tasks issued.
Skills and Experience
Experience with tools of trade including ride on lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, whipper snipper, chainsaws and high-powered hand tools related to the gardening industry is beneficial.
High level of physical fitness to perform the requirements of this role.
Current drivers' licence and must have own transport (Manual licence is preferred).
Be self-motivated, hardworking and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Understanding of Work, Health & Safety.
Be able to provide 2 work related references.
Maintain and Operate Chainsaws, Working at Heights and EWP tickets, horticulture qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing. We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol and testing is ongoing during employment.

Pay: $31.21 – $36.12 per hour
