We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Land Management Services Division for a full-time Crew Leader. The role is perfect for people with experience in gardens and ground maintenance who are keen to put their experience into practice, while also supporting people with disabilities on the job to learn new skills in Land Management. The role is based in Broadmeadows and you will work across various locations.

The role is Monday – Friday and hours are generally 8:00am – 4:06pm with flexibility needed to also work between 6:00am – 6:00pm.
What you'll need to succeed Grounds and garden maintenance experienceTurf experienceExperience in the use and operation of horticultural equipmentA good level of mechanical aptitudeAbility to tow a trailerExperience in working with people with different abilities is highly desirable but not essentialGood communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholdersAbility to advocate and promote community inclusion and person centred support that exceeds standards and is delivered within the available resourcesGood administration skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentationHighly motivated and outcome driven to complete allotted tasksAbility to meet the goals and objectives of the team while working in an independent environmentCommitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to workCommitment to the principles of Occupational Health & Safety and Environment, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislationMust haves Right to work in AustraliaNDIS Worker Screening Check - We are working with vulnerable people and this check is required to ensure we are employing people that do not present a risk to participantsWorking with Children CheckFull Victorian Driver LicenceCertificate in First Aid Level 2 + CPRTurf or grounds maintenance qualification and/or allied field (Desirable)White Card or equivalent (Desirable)Chemcert or equivalent (Desirable)Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, including the booster (or medical exemption)How to apply If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role please apply through SEEK.
