Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for experienced Grounds and Maintenance personnel to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our Anglo American villages in the Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura regions.
Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work a 7:7 roster, working 11 hour days.
Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis with meals and accommodation provided.
The Position Working as key members in our remote maintenance teams Maintain and enhance accommodation village grounds and gardens, as well as grounds maintenance of the houses in the townships Turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds Provide preventative and reactive maintenance to structures and services as required Operate and maintain equipment and machinery Other ad hoc tasks as required The Person Valid drivers licence and reliable transport Remote experience in the resources sector - desirable ACDC certification – desirable Current forklift ticket – desirable Ability to work as a part of a team, and autonomously as required Physically fit and able to work in the elements to perform a 11 hour day The Benefits You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
