Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for experienced Grounds and Maintenance personnel to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our Anglo American villages in the Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura regions.
Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work a 7:7 roster, working 11 hour days.
Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis with meals and accommodation provided.
The Position Working as key members in our remote maintenance teamsMaintain and enhance accommodation village grounds and gardens, as well as grounds maintenance of the houses in the townshipsTurf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the groundsProvide preventative and reactive maintenance to structures and services as requiredOperate and maintain equipment and machineryOther ad hoc tasks as requiredThe Person Valid drivers licence and reliable transportRemote experience in the resources sector - desirableACDC certification – desirableCurrent forklift ticket – desirableAbility to work as a part of a team, and autonomously as requiredPhysically fit and able to work in the elements to perform a 11 hour dayThe Benefits You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
