Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.We strive to provide a lasting first impression and a seamless, quality travel experience for our domestic, interstate and international visitors.We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.We are currently looking for multiple suitable candidates for our Ground Transport Officer role.You will work on a rotating shift roster, alternating between night and day shifts, covering our car parks and outside terminal forecourt.Your Key Responsibilities Will Be: Providing guidance, information, and assistance to all Perth Airport visitorsDelivering exceptional customer service and responding promptly to customer enquiriesConducting patrols and routine inspections of Perth Airport roadways, forecourts, and facilitiesIdentifying any defects, hazards, or suspicious activity and ensuring area safetyMaintaining accurate records related to health and safety, training, and customer serviceWe Are Looking For a Candidate Who Has: Proven history and passion for working within a customer service spaceProven experience working in outdoor environments, on your feet, for long periods of time will be highly desirableGreat listening skills and communication abilitiesThe composure to handle challenging situationsA full Driver's LicenceA WACE certificate (or equivalent)Experience in Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control (pre-requisite Construction White Card) or the willingness to obtain these qualificationsExperience in RIIWHS302D - Implement traffic management plan and RIIWHS250D - Control Traffic with a stop-slow bat would be highly desirable, along with a First Aid qualificationAbout Us:We offer a dynamic, supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration.
