About the role We currently have a permanent full-time ( 40 hours per week ) opportunity for a reliable, motivated and safety conscious individual to join our Workshop Team as a qualified Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Tradesperson/Mechanic.
Your key responsibilities will include Ensuring coaches and other Greyhound vehicles are maintained to the highest level Regular mechanical servicing Determine or assist in determining complex root cause of all breakdowns, failures, delays and process incidents Understand our fleet's maintenance requirements Ensure Greyhound coaches are in sound working order by detecting mechanical and electrical faults and repairing and replacing parts where needed Maintain accurate and detailed records for all servicing and repairs Complying with safe work practices Accurately recording data in workshop system Please note that this role will require you to work shifts including nights and weekends in the performance of your duties.
Annual wage of $81,000.00 plus super and allowances Essential Experience and Criteria You will be trade qualified with sound mechanical experience.
Experience with Scania and Volvo vehicles in the coach and/or truck industry is an advantage, as is having an HR licence.
