Greenkeeper/Gardener/Groundsman – Nudgee Golf Club

Nudgee Golf Club, Home of the QLD PGA Championship, is located on the north side of Brisbane, 16 kilometres from the CBD and close to Brisbane Airport. Nudgee Golf Club has now completed a 36 hole re-development with 2 brand new courses, The Kurrai and The Bulka now in play.

The club is bordered by Nudgee Beach, Kedron Brook and the Moreton Bay foreshores. The club was formed in 1930, has a full service modern clubhouse, 300m driving range, practice putting greens and over 1700 members who enjoy equality membership up to 7 days a week.

Essential requirements Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management Previous Golf Course experience Knowledge of the e-Par WPH&S system or other WPH&S systems Excellent communication skills Sound Knowledge of standard machinery maintenance Must be self-motivated, hardworking and have passion for turf grass management Must be willing to be flexible with work hours dependent on course maintenance, corporate events and weather conditions. Be able to work individually or as part of a team Must be honest, reliable and punctual Previous experience with renovation equipment Desirable Requirements AC/DC Spray Certification Experience with irrigation and minor repairs Experience and knowledge of chemical and fertiliser application Current Senior First Aid certification We are offering a full-time position of 38 hours per week, over a 7 day roster.
