As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will: Deliver clinical leadership and expertise in medical and paediatric nursing.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.Develop and promote nursing standards, clinical governance, and culturally appropriate practices.Manage resources, budgets, and staff recruitment to meet performance goals.Lead quality improvement initiatives and support educational programs.Align with strategic plans, standards, and operational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Requirements: Eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Demonstrated well developed clinical, managerial and leadership skills including leading change.Demonstrated well developed ability to manage human, material and environmental resources to achieve safe high quality consumer centred care.Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.Demonstrated ability in the application of quality improvement and risk management in the delivery of patient care.Demonstrated computing skills to enable manipulation of online data, data entry into health information systems, navigation of online policies, internal communication and completion of online learning resources.Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health.Post graduate qualifications in a relevant speciality e.g. Paediatric Nursing, Nursing Management.Knowledge of contemporary issues and trends in Rural Health Service Delivery.Application Instructions: A detailed resume that clearly demonstrates your relevant work experience and achievements;A cover letter (maximum 2 pages) outlining your skills and abilities as they relate to the position;A statement addressing the selection criteria (JDF attached).Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
