Job Overview: The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in conceptualising, designing, and executing projects across a variety of mediums, including digital and print.
This role requires an individual who combines artistic talent with technical skill to produce impactful designs that meet our clients' branding needs and align with our company's high standards.
You will collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and production teams to bring design visions to life from concept to final output.
Salary: $73,150 to $79,000 plus Super depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:Design Creation: Develop visually compelling graphics for various projects, including but not limited to signage, digital prints, packaging, marketing materials, social media content, and branding assets.Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their design requirements, provide creative solutions, and ensure that final designs reflect their brand identity and objectives.Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent aesthetic and visual tone across all projects, adhering to both client branding guidelines and company standards.Project Management: Oversee the design process from concept to completion, managing timelines, adhering to budgets, and ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within scope.Print Production Support: Prepare files for print production, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output, and liaise with the production team to oversee colour accuracy and final product quality.Digital Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest design software, techniques, and industry trends to bring fresh ideas to our work.Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all designs, ensuring high standards in aesthetics, accuracy, and attention to detail.Qualification and Experience:Qualification: Relevant Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.Experience: 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a similar industry (signage, digital printing, branding).Technical Skills:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
and other design software.Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and composition.Familiarity with print production processes, including file setup, proofing, and color management.Portfolio: Demonstrated experience with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work across mediums and applications.
