Based in the UniSA Research Office at the City West campusFull-time, continuing positionCommencement Salary: $112,143 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)About the RoleReporting to the Manager: Research Projects Development, the Grant Developer plays a key role in building strategic relationships with the University community to effectively identify, promote and support the development of quality grant applications to capitalise on competitive research funding opportunities for UniSA.Working under broad direction, the Grant Developer is responsible for the allocation of resources to ensure the provision of strategic and proactive advice and service to researchers and will also have a hands-on approach in supporting researchers in grant development. This role will ensure research grant applications fulfil the requirements of funding schemes, are of a high quality, competitive, and meet key deadlines.

Essential Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and significant experience in research grant development, writing and editingDemonstrated experience in planning, developing and writing/editing external research funding applications and proposals or technical materials of a research nature, preferably within the higher education sectorDemonstrated experience in, and knowledge of, current developments in the Australian research landscape, research policy and practice, national and internal funding schemes and an ability to translate these into building research income and impactDemonstrated capability to build and manage productive networks with Government agencies, diverse industry sectors, research organisations and not for profit sectorsDemonstrated ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures, and funding requirements of external agenciesBenefitsGetting a great job working with the best is just the start.
