This is a full-time role based in our Gold Coast office in Burleigh Heads with some travel around South-East Queensland depending on project requirements.
We are looking for a graduate engineer with 2 years of construction or building experience.
The engineer should be dedicated to delivering work that meets our clients' needs, driven to continually develop their technical abilities, and interested in improving our design systems.
We expect the engineer to be based in the office, as we do not offer working from home.
However, we do offer flexible hours conditional on workload and work performance.Your Primary Responsibilities
Delivering precast temporary works designsAnswering precast temporary works queriesFinite Element modelling in Strand 7Coordinating and completing inspections on projects under constructionReinforced concrete design of walls and columnsReinforced and post-tensioned design on slabsSteelwork design and detailingCompleting design sketches in BluebeamContributing to technical research and presentationsQualifications
Ideally 2 years of construction or building experienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering requiredKnowledge of concrete and structural mechanics requiredProficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, BluebeamExperience with Strand7, RAPT, Inducta SLB, SpacegassStrong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlinesGenuine interest in concrete mechanics and design automationWhat's in it for you?
