As a participant in our 2025 Graduate Program within the Melton Personal Injury team, you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience, preparing you for a fulfilling career as a Solicitor, where you'll continue to seek justice for those who have been wronged.The program, commencing in February 2025, is a permanent, full-time opportunity for those who have completed their law degree and are excited to take the next step in their legal career.With compassion, connection, and purpose, you'll be a true champion of our clients by: Working under the guidance of a senior practitioner to gain experience within the legal practice by assisting in representing clients and providing accurate legal advice. Developing a proficient ability to effectively assess claims, including liability and quantum. Cultivating strong relationships with our clients and peers through exceptional communication. Preparing legal documentation with a high degree of detail and assisting with running a file load with a keen level of commercial and fiscal awareness. What you'll bringTo thrive in this role, you'll: Have completed your law degree prior to the program commencing in February 2025. Have a passion for social justice and a thirst for knowledge in the plaintiff law space. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, with an emphasis on helping people when they need it most. Be able to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate a genuine interest in Shine's areas of practice. Bring diversity of experience and evidence of extra-curricular activities aligned with Shine's work, such as volunteering or community work. Be an active member of relevant association/s will be favourably considered, as will paid and non-paid work experience in the legal field. Shine Lawyers: A place for you.
