About the opportunity Real Work with Real Outcomes – Starting in January 2025, our program offers a two-year fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent placement. This immersive, hands-on program provides practical learning through fundamental tasks and meaningful work. Participants will complete two 12-month rotational placements, gaining a comprehensive technical and commercial skills training blend.

The program includes continuous coaching, mentorship, and formal training, allowing participants to rotate through diverse business units. This structure ensures a thorough understanding of operations and strategic initiatives, combining on-the-job learning with formal education.

As a Graduate Safety Advisor, you will have the opportunity to
Drive projects to identify and mitigate risks across operations. Improve and enhance onsite safety procedures for a secure workplace. Ensure Regulatory Compliance - Stay updated on safety regulations and enforce compliance. Integrate environmental considerations into safety practices. Cultivate Safety-Conscious Culture: Advocate for safety awareness and accountability at all levels. About you We seek adaptable individuals who thrive in challenging environments, are keen to engage in real projects, work as part of a team, and make meaningful contributions to the business.

Eligibility Criteria:
A genuine passion for Safety within the operational context of steel manufacturing and distribution, Australian/NZ citizenship or a visa granting unlimited working rights, Completion of an Australian tertiary degree within the past three years (or set to conclude in 2024). Less than two years of full-time, discipline-specific work experience.
Note: Successful placement into this program will be subject to pre-employment checks, including but not limited to criminal, qualification, medical, and reference checks.
