Congratulations on completing your Occupational Therapy studies! Applying for jobs and interviewing for your first employer can be daunting, but it can also open your eyes to new sectors and industries that you may not have considered. In the last three years, we have successfully onboarded and trained over 40 Graduate Occupational Therapists with our industry-leading training modules and new graduate program. Start dates can be flexible throughout Jan-March 2025, depending on your preference.
If you are a passionate Occupational Therapist who wants to help transform lives through excellence and person-centred NDIS allied health services, then you will love working at ORS.
You will work alongside 80+ other dedicated Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division, performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types. We provide the opportunity for every clinician to build a caseload that aligns with their skills and interests. More importantly, you will also work with an amazing group of clients, playing an integral part in their personal growth and development.
The types of assessments and interventions that you will complete include:
Skill building and capacity buildingFunctional assessmentsSensory assessmentsAssistive technology assessmentsHome and living assessmentsHome modification assessmentsYou will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.
Graduate Program: You will be eligible to participate in ORS' six-month tailored new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training, and opportunities to network with other new graduates and senior practitioners across Australia. Many of our leaders started with ORS in our Graduate Program!

You will also have access to internal Occupational Therapy-specific and interdisciplinary professional development opportunities (Special Interest Groups, Monthly Discipline Specific In-services, and Multi-Disciplinary In-services). These are offered either live or in recorded formats to ensure you have access to the training that suits your needs, with opportunities to pursue clinical specialization. Options for external training will also be considered, with possibilities to purchase training allowances through the bonus scheme available.
