Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry stand out with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project. The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. Job DescriptionThe Graduate Mine Surveyor is responsible for assisting with day to day survey control necessary to enable the mining operations to be carried out safely and efficiently.
This position is offered on a full-time basis, working 12 hours per day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster at our Bellevue Gold Project outside of Leinster WA.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Utilise appropriate equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely mannerAssist with maintaining survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustment parametersEnsure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessibleAssist with creation of Mine Plans for regulatory submissionsInstall survey stations for directional control of miningAssist with carrying out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development and diamond drilling activitiesAssist with survey plans and memos as required to a high standard and in a timely mannerCarry out development pick-ups and maintain an accurate survey as-built modelConduct CMS surveys as required and validate resultsAssist with end-of-month surveysComplete and assist with aerial survey work as requiredConduct surface set outs and pickups as requiredConduct other miscellaneous survey tasks as requiredDesired Skills and ExperienceKey Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies:
