Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role will be pivotal in supporting the overall planning, controlling, and organizing the production and maintenance of the site's operations. This includes the industrial and medical filling centres, cylinder test station, and where applicable, dry ice manufacturing and acetylene production.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Manage all aspects of plant maintenance to ensure efficient production with respect to safety, quality, reliability, and cost control.Complete reports as required (monthly production reports, payroll, etc.)Review and improve quality procedures and processes of the production plants, including the implementation of new plants from time to time.Ensure all EIS (Element Important for Safety) are appropriately identified, recorded, and maintained.Ensure that the PID (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams) are correctly updated for any changes and review existing PIDs for conformance.Ensure all equipment is appropriately calibrated.Acquire and keep up-to-date knowledge of work health and safety matters.Collect and analyze operation data of all kinds of plants and compare it with standard and target, raising suggestions to improve the performance of plants.Are you a MATCH?Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.Knowledge of AutoCAD for use in P&IDs.Good MS Excel skills for plant production reporting.Understanding of OH&S, Quality Systems, and good logistics and manufacturing practices.Basic experience working in a processing plant.Strong communication & interpersonal skills.Able to anticipate and deal with a changing environment.Positive attitude towards learning new things and welcoming a challenge.Innovative thinking and influencing leadership.Able to drive personal efficiency and manage competing priorities.Solution-focused decision making.About Air LiquideA world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
