About the Allied Health Division Austin Health's Allied Health division employs over 1,000 health professionals across 27 disciplines, broadly known as the therapies and sciences, who work as key members of the multidisciplinary team aiming to provide the best outcomes for patients via preventing, diagnosing and treating a range of healthcare conditions.
About the role This role will join our supportive and highly skilled Grade 3 AHIP group.
You'll shape the direction of clinical and non-clinical care in Allied Health through a dedication to:
Innovative Transdisciplinary Care: The AHIPs are credentialled to complete physical, cognitive, and psychosocial assessment and intervention in hospital or community to prevent or reduce hospital admissions for older adults.Evidence-based service improvement: The AHIPs are at the forefront of high quality and evidence-based care, influencing best practice in their clinical area.Professional growth: The AHIPs will lead quality and service improvement activities and champion research to ensure we meet the needs of our patients and our colleagues.Sustainable workforce: The AHIPs are expert clinicians and teachers who consult and grow the skills, knowledge and confidence of our clinical workforce.We offer access to robust supervision and a supportive leadership team dedicated to your professional growth.
