$51.41 to $58.74 per hour Senior Lymphoedema Therapist – Oncology, Outpatient and Grampians at Home Programs (Accepting Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy disciplines) Part time (16 hours a week) Fixed term until November 2025 | Parental Leave cover About the Role Grampians Health Ballarat is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Senior Therapist to join our Lymphoedema Program.
This role involves providing expert assessment and management of lymphoedema within our oncology, community health, and Grampians At Home services, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
With extensive experience and ideally a post-graduate qualification, you'll play a key leadership role in mentoring staff, teaching students, and contributing to ongoing professional development.
As a Senior Clinician, you'll thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment, where teamwork and communication are valued Key Responsibilities Provide advanced lymphoedema assessment and treatment, ensuring smooth care transitions and leading case conferences.
Support the Clinical Manager in enhancing team performance, lead multidisciplinary teams, and drive service improvements.
Lead quality improvement projects and research, contributing to publications and conferences while ensuring evidence-based outcomes.
Maintain effective communication within teams and with external stakeholders, ensuring clear documentation and supporting problem-solving in the absence of the Clinical Manager.
Mentor and supervise staff, contribute to recruitment and performance management, and facilitate professional development.
Participate in strategic planning, service development, and financial management, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Skills & Experience Currently registered as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
At least seven years' experience, with significant expertise in lymphoedema management and preferably a post-graduate qualification.
Advanced knowledge of assessment, treatment, and management for a wide range of lymphoedema cases.
Strong relationship-building skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
Experience in mentoring and empowering others through supervision and training.
Initiative to lead and develop services, engaging with consumers and stakeholders.
