Relocation Support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500 Interstate - up to $5,000 Overseas - up to $8,000    Accommodation Support:  Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available)  Connection to a FREE 1:1 relocation concierge service supporting all aspects of relocation About the role This role would suit an experienced speech pathologist with strong clinical skills within a hospital setting.
We are a small, supportive and forward-thinking team and require candidates, with collaborative and supportive communication skills.
As a Grade 2 speech pathologist you will be responsible for providing high quality patient care in our admitted services (acute/sub-acute).
As a large regional hospital, we see a broad range of patients and the caseload is varied and changeable.
You will have skills in prioritising and managing your workload, clear decision-making and the ability to draw on and support your team.
This includes independently assessing, planning, recommending and implementing a wide range of speech pathology services to inpatients recovering from trauma, surgery, acute illness, neurological deficits and more.
Grade 2 positions are responsible for assisting in the coordination of the student training program as well as shared supervision of Grade 1 speech pathologists.
All team members receive clinical supervision in line with industry standards.
We are well supported by our Allied Health Education team and encourage research and leadership development through our internal programs.
This position, amongst others, is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider.

We are looking for Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia Experience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting Videofluoroscopy competency highly regarded Paediatric dysphagia competency highly regarded Position Description:  HERE If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
