About the Pharmacy Department Austin Health Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive high-quality care to Austin Health patients and supports other members of the healthcare team in all aspects of medicines management. The Department consists of over 140 full-time equivalent staff across the 3 campuses within Austin Health. The team consists of pharmacists and technical and support personnel who work together to ensure patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care possible. Our mission statement is "working together to provide optimum pharmaceutical care".
About the Role The objectives of this position are to provide comprehensive high-quality care to Austin Health patients and support other members of the healthcare team. Roles may include the following:
Dispense prescriptions in accordance with Austin Health Policy;Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatients;Perform aseptic dispensing and non-sterile manufacturing;Supervise pharmacy interns and students.About You As a pharmacist, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
