Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial control and project cost management? Our client is seeking a Cost Controller to join their team and provide essential project cost performance analysis for major infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: As a Cost Controller, you will: Implement and maintain cost control systems to monitor and report on project costs.Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Provide regular cost performance reports, interpreting data to create actionable insights.Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions, capture historical costs, and identify emerging issues.Manage financial processes, including month-end close, invoice processing, accruals, and variance analysis.Align budgets, commitments, and costs while ensuring compliance with financial delegations and governance structures.About the Role: You will support the delivery of complex, high-value infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems and renewable energy initiatives. These projects often exceed $50 million and require exceptional technical and stakeholder management skills.
What You'll Bring: Expertise in cost attribution, financial control, and reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in managing large-scale project costs, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Knowledge of financial policies and governance frameworks.Why Join?
