Join our dynamic team at our Workplace Injury Management Clinic in Bankstown, Sydney. We specialize in providing comprehensive care and management for patients with various injuries, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and recovery plans. We provide acute injury management and consultations, health assessments, health monitoring services, pre-employment screening, fitness for duties screening and corporate wellbeing services.
Our clinic is committed to excellence in patient care, and we are looking for a dedicated GP to join our professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality primary care and injury management services to patients. Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose injuries, and develop effective treatment plans. Coordinate and manage patient care, including referrals to specialists and allied health professionals as needed. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic health record system. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding injury prevention and management. Participate in clinic meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct pre-employment screening and testing to assess fitness for work and potential risk factors for injury. Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on pre-employment assessments to employers and other relevant stakeholders. Requirements: AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner. FRACGP or equivalent qualification. Experience in injury management and rehabilitation is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to providing patient-centered care.The ideal candidate would have some experience with treatment under workers compensation and CTP schemes. Industry specific certifications is also preferred, including: Rail medicals, Commercial vehicle driver medicals, asbestos medicals, respirable crystalline silica medicals, or skin cancer screening.
