As a Senior Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing medical care within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities include:
Admitting patients to the Acute Ward in line with health admissions policies.Conducting clinical handovers and completing discharge/transfer documentation.Responding to medical emergencies across the health service, including resuscitative treatments.Covering the Urgent Care Centre, acute inpatients, and aged care residents during rostered shifts.Being on-call for urgent cases, ensuring high-quality care for our patients. Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
MBBS (or equivalent).General AHPRA Registration.Credentialing as a Senior Medical Officer, including General Practitioner status.Ideally, Fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
