Gp Policy Advisor Part-Time Temporary

This is a rare opportunity for a clinically active General Practitioner (GP) to trial an important position to assist ACT Health and Canberra Health Services interface optimally with general practice. This position works closely with the Chief GP and Primary Care Advisor to provide effective, timely advice and briefings to the Director General, Deputy Directors General, Executive and management on matters related to general practice and primary health care services.
The role will focus on the development and review of policy that affects or interfaces with primary care and is a key link between ACT Health and Capital Health Network, the broader primary health care and GP community.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Undergo a pre-employment National Police CheckBe registered with AHPRA without conditions as a Medical Practitioner in Australia and hold current Vocational Registration as a General Practitioner.
