I am currently recruiting for an Information, Improvement & Governance Specialist to join a government department located in Docklands!
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Contract: 12-month fixed term Location: Docklands with hybrid work options Competitive salary on offer!
About the Role: This position is focused on governing and enhancing the documentation supporting the Asset Management (AM) system and facilitating initiatives to advance system maturity.
Key Accountabilities: Project Management: Oversee and guide AM improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timely completion, and adherence to objectives.
Governance & Reporting : Maintain transparency and accountability through regular governance and reporting on AM initiatives, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Documentation Management : Govern AM documentation within Melbourne Water's information management systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support Improvements: Contribute to individual or team-led initiatives to enhance processes.
Health & Safety: Actively participate in health and safety practices by identifying hazards and promoting improvement initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required Expertise in project management, change management, and facilitation, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
High-level experience in technical documentation, SharePoint information management, and communications site development.
Knowledge of information governance and document administration.
Strong consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Team-oriented, adaptable, and results-focused, with excellent organization and time management skills.
Desirable: Familiarity with enterprise-wide document control and AM systems.
