The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance processes. The role will support the business in a second line capacity and oversight.Key responsibilities include:• Maintain the compliance plan and assist the first line teams in closing processes and control gaps required for regulatory compliance.• Testing privacy, AML and compliance controls• Privacy work around GDPR• Australian Credit Licence - looking at RAS metrics and helping the business help monitor• Risk dashboards and pulling together insights• Regulatory reform monitoring and advising the business on upcoming regulatory change• Uplifting the risk register, simplifying it for line 1• Own and independently deliver the process of collating Board and Committee papers, including executive committees, and assist the company secretary.What you'll need to succeed• Tertiary qualification e.g Finance, Commerce, Law, Accounting• Proven Compliance/Risk experience in financial services or Big 4 Consultancy• Excellent organisation skills and someone proactive• Stakeholder management - level of maturity to interact with senior stakeholders• Driven personality and wants to learn and develop• Ability to work in a broad role with every day being differentWhat you'll get in return• Join a growing AI lending Fintech looking at expanding their product suite in B2B and B2C• Work closely with the experienced Risk and Compliance Lead in operationalising the Risk Management Framework and further embedding Risk, Compliance and Governance.• Learn from experienced leaders, get exposure to C suite executive, in a role where you will be challenged with new aspects every day.• Earn $120k package + bonus + benefits working in a modern, well-equipped office in Sydney's CBD, with the role offering 3 days in office and 2 WFH.• Strong culture and various social eventsWhat you need to do nowPlease apply now or email your CV to ******#2888911 At Hays, we invest in lifelong partnerships that empower people and businesses to succeed.
