Join RAAFA today in this newly created Governance & Risk Advisor role within our Information Services portfolio.
As our Governance & Risk Advisor, you will lead and manage RAAFA's organisational governance and privacy programs.
Working closely with stakeholders, you will support the organisation in policy and risk management to ensure regulatory compliance.

This role will see you: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and oversee a robust data governance framework.
Coordinate RAAFA's business continuity plans.
Support company policy development and updates, aligning with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Address privacy-related inquiries and incidents with confidence.
Identify and assess privacy risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide guidance on risk management matters.
Foster a culture of privacy and risk awareness through engaging training programs.
Prepare clear and informative reports on governance, privacy and risk compliance relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation of organisational governance, privacy and risk activities.

About you: Qualifications / relevant professional certification in data governance, privacy and risk management or related field is preferred.
Proven experience in data governance, privacy, policy development, risk management and/or internal audit.
Demonstrated ability to write clear and effective policy documents.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice in governance, privacy and risk.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk scenarios.
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practice.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
