We are looking for a Workers Compensation & Injury Management Specialist to join our team.
Reporting to the Health, Wellbeing and Injury Manager as the Workers Compensation & Injury Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the holistic wellbeing and mental health of our employees.
Your primary focus will be leading the efficient and effective management of all aspects of our workers compensation and injury management programs.
You will coach and support managers to enhance their injury management skills.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the broader workplace and the health and wellbeing of our people.
An all-rounder, you will be involved in all aspects of Workers' Compensation and Injury Management, Injury Prevention & Fit for Work Initiatives.
You will have a focus on creating a safe, supportive and healthy work environment.

About you Tertiary qualification/s in a health/injury management discipline (e.g.
Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or Psychology) or related field experienceDeep technical knowledge and understanding of workers compensation and injury management laws, codes, standards and associated obligationsExperience in managing workers compensation and injury management across multi-site and multi-jurisdictional environmentsProven track record in driving significant improvements in workers compensation claims liabilities, processes and systems.Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff, regulators and industrial organisationsExperience with 3rd party vendor managementReturn to Work Certification in relevant jurisdictionsHigh level numerical and analytical skills, including well-structured written and communication skillsProven ability to work autonomously, multi-task and prioritise workStrong interpersonal skills and business acumenMotivated and practical thinker who can engage and partner with business leaders and investigate opportunities to influence change and challenge the status quoContinue to make it happen for your career – apply today
