About Goodstart New Lambton
Located in the peaceful yet central suburb of New Lambton, just a quick 5-minute drive from John Hunter Hospital, Goodstart New Lambton is perfectly placed for convenience. We're close to local primary schools and have great cafes nearby, ideal for a coffee run! Our small, close-knit team of 10 passionate Early Childhood Professionals are dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and diverse environment where both staff and children thrive.
Temporary, fixed-term position until August 2025 Enjoy a Rostered Day Off (RDO) for that perfect work-life balance A flexible floating role to support the needs of our Centre 2 hours each week dedicated to your Professional Development as an Assistant Director Rotating roster , giving you variety, with shifts between 6:30am - 6pm Work in a small, close-knit 43-place Centre with just 3 rooms, making it the perfect space to truly connect with the children and your team. If you have previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar, then we'd love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.
You'll need:
A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management We review applications as they are submitted.
