Golf Operations Assistant

We are a progressive and inclusive club with a welcoming and relaxed environment, and aim to provide a high-quality experience to our Members and guests.We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic casual Golf Operations Assistant to join our team for 10-20 hours per week. You will be responsible for assisting the Golf Ops team in the day-to-day running of the golf shop and related golf services including retail.Your main responsibilities will include:Teesheet & Competition ManagementAssisting with golf enquiries and bookingsAssisting patrons with retail purchasesConducting course marshallingAssisting with merchandising stock in the golf shopAssist with the delivery, promotion, and organisation of golfing eventsProvide advice on productsAssisting with the range operationsTo be successful in this role, you will have the following:Golf knowledge and an interest in golfFriendly personality and ability to build rapport with guests and membersA positive attitude and a passion for great customer serviceSimilar experience within the golf industry highly regarded but not essentialWhy work for Lonsdale Links?Staff Membership including free use of the course and rangeEmployee Assistance ProgramFun place to work with great workplace cultureAward ratesWeekend availability is essential along with the ability to work across a 7-day roster.
