About Your New Role
Gold Coast Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist – Senior to join our newly developed Secure Mental Health Unit and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high level Occupational Therapy clinical services Provide efficient, responsive and recovery-oriented mental health care Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment, collaborative treatment planning and case management Provide intensive, developmentally appropriate, consumer-centred, mental health interventions Contribute to the development of clinical practice procedures and protocols, for both the discipline and the multi-disciplinary team Qualifications
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy A graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirable Registration with AHPRA Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits of Working with Gold Coast Health
Salary Packaging 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Interstate/International candidates may be eligible for the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive – up to $20,000!
