What you'd be doing in this role As Canva scales change, it continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So, this will give you a flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but it will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on: Leading a Global Engineering TA Team: Inspire, mentor, and coach a high-performing team to deliver impactful results while championing their growth and development.Recruiting the Best: Drive global recruitment efforts to secure top engineering talent with agility and precision, especially for niche and in-demand roles.Building Diverse Teams: Advocate for and embed inclusive hiring practices to ensure Canva reflects the diversity of its global community.Partnering with Stakeholders: Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop talent strategies that align with product goals and long-term vision.Data-Driven Excellence: Leverage data insights to optimise hiring strategies, inform decisions, and improve effectiveness.Champion Experience: Elevate stakeholder and candidate experiences, ensuring every touchpoint with Canva leaves a lasting, positive impression.You're probably a match if You have proven experience leading talent acquisition teams, especially in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment.You're skilled in coaching, empowering, and growing hybrid, global teams.You bring a data-driven approach to decision-making and strategy development.You're adaptable, collaborative, and deeply experienced in operationalising talent strategies.You're passionate about inclusion and diversity and advocate for it in every hiring practice.You have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. You'll collaborate closely with engineering leaders, the global TA team, and the broader People team to align hiring strategies with our ambitious growth plans while continuously evolving and innovating our processes.
