Perth based role with frequent site visits required Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our established and dedicated transformation & improvements team.
Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. Minara Resources is wholly owned by Glencore, one of the world's largest globally diversified natural resources companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities. Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.
The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team focused on continuous improvement, compliance and organisational standards, and delivering actionable insights to enhance the project outcomes. This role may involve a hybrid working environment with flexibility for remote and onsite activities.
You will be responsible for:

Analysing project performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and resource utilisation, to ensure alignment with project goals. Gathering data from project teams and systems to create detailed reports on project progress, budget variances, and potential risks. Conducting trend analysis to identify patterns, forecast future performance, and recommend improvements based on historical project data. Facilitating regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project performance, risks, and key milestones. Identifying project risks, assessing their impact on project goals, and developing mitigation strategies to reduce potential negative effects. Overseeing project timelines and milestones, ensuring that project phases are completed on schedule and within scope. Implementing continuous improvement processes to enhance project efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve overall performance. Ensuring that project activities comply with organisational policies and standards, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout each project phase. About You
This role would suit an analytical thinker that possesses a natural curiosity and the ability to dissect complex problems, identify trends and develop solutions for them.
You will also have:
Bachelor's degree in performance management, project analysis or a related field Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma (highly desirable) Minimum of two years' experience in project analysis, performance management, or a related field Strong data analysis and visualisation skills using Excel, Power BI or Tableau Strong report writing and presentation skills Confident communicator with senior management, legal entities and external stakeholders.
