We are looking for a full-time Glazier with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
Duties to be performed: Measure, cut, and install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures, ensuring precise fit and alignment. Assess and repair damaged glass, including broken panes or seals, and replace them as needed. Use specialized tools to cut and shape glass according to specifications, ensuring safety and accuracy. Prepare and install frames and supports for glass, ensuring they are structurally sound and ready for glass installation. Apply sealants and weatherproofing materials to ensure energy efficiency and prevent water leakage. Follow safety regulations and guidelines while handling glass and using tools, including wearing protective gear. Work closely with architects, builders, and other tradespeople to coordinate glass installation with overall construction plans. Inspect glass installations for quality and adherence to standards, making adjustments or repairs as needed. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for glass types and styles.
