The Gladstone Area Manager is responsible for the daily running's our of Gladstone workshop and the teams.
The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the operations of the business lines, the equipment maintenance and client requirements, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety in our service delivery.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Manage the operation teams to ensure we are providing a high level of service to our clients.
Engage with clients to develop relationships and build business opportunities.
Assist with quoting and tendering Ensure maintenance strategies and plans are followed, to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
Manage and lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all activities.
Plan and oversee schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities with operational needs.
Monitor project progress, track KPI's and report on operational performance.
Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for all activities.
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.  Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or minimum of 10 years industry experience.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a operations management role within the engineering or energy sectors.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in operational management systems and software.
Excellent communication Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
