GIS System Administrator12 Months contract with possible extensionsBased in Sydney CBD (Hybrid work arrangements)$800-$900/ day+ SuperKey responsibilities & duties Installation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and manage ArcGIS Enterprise in cloud environments, particularly Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.Spatial Services Management:
Assist with publishing, configuring, and maintaining 2D and 3D spatial services, web maps, and scenes in cloud-based systems.
Monitor, test, and fine-tune spatial services to ensure high performance and reliability.Software Proficiency:
Utilise the Esri software suite, including Filed Maps, Survey123, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, to support GIS operations and projects.Geodatabase Management:
Configure, manage, and maintain geodatabases in cloud environments (DBaaS) to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.Performance Testing and Optimisation:
Conduct performance testing on spatial services, identify bottlenecks, and implement fine-tuning measures.Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS applications, services, and databases.Documentation and Training:
Document processes, procedures, and configurations; provide training and support to GIS users. Essential knowledge, skills & experience Min 5 years' experience with deployment and administration of ArcGIS Enterprise Version 11.0 and above Windows IaaS deployment in cloud environment, preferably Azure Experience with Enterprise Geodatabase (SDE) on Azure DBaaSFamiliarity with ETL and Geo Analytics tools such as Model Builder, Python and FME to perform data transformation, spatial data analysis and automation.
