We are now seeking a GIS Officer to join our Geology, Technical Services team in our Perth corporate office on a permanent full time offering.
Accountable to the Superintendent Resource Evaluation, a great opportunity to forge your career in the gold mining industry.
Accountabilities: Provide prompt and efficient geospatial services and end user support to teams across Sunrise and Tropicana.Develop, maintain and publish high quality GIS datasets, plans, maps, web maps and dashboards.Organise capture, process, edit and publish incoming aerial photography.Assist with CAD related support with company publications.Provide training, documentation and help enhance the GIS related skillset of end users through coaching.Maintain and improve GIS work processes and procedures.Improve and maintain Spatial and Resource T-SQL databases.Support project completion in the GIS space.Aid and support in enhancing asset tracking systems.About You

To be considered, we would like to see you have:
Relevant experience, preferably within resource industry.Tertiary qualification in GIS/Cartography (or another relevant qualification with sufficient experience).Experience with QGIS, ArcGIS, FME, CorelDraw, and Microsoft SQL Management Studio will be highly regarded.Prior experience in Datashed, Global Mapper, Micromine, and automation through scripting is desirable.Great team playing and collaborative working style.Culture and Benefits
