As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in our organisation by utilising your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support our Data Maintenance
What You'll Do Capture, process, store, and analyse environmental and climate information and datasets. Enhance the efficiency of our internal data processing. Maintain the company's environmental information database, ensuring data consistency across various systems. Conduct research and development of land information systems. Collect, manage, and analyse data following specific standards and procedures, ensuring data currency and accuracy. Collaborate with project staff to identify project data management needs and requirements. Define, organise, implement, and enforce correct workflows and policies for data importing, exporting, collection, management validation, and reporting. Establish standards and processes, and contribute to defining tools that facilitate data collection, management, and reporting. Implement new technology to expand services to internal project teams and clients. What You'll Bring Relevant qualifications in Geospatial/Environmental Engineering/Sciences or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with data management and geospatial datasets. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in data management tools and software. Knowledge or experience in any of the following will be advantageous: Power BI, FME, Python scripting. Exposure to database or programming platforms (e.g., Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic for Applications, Python, R, or similar). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Passion for innovation and a drive to continuously improve processes and deliverables. #LI-AN1
